Johanne Morin
I am new to the world of Art and I have only started to discover the many exciting facets of this new passion. It would seem naïve to say that I have already discovered my own “style” or even “specialty”. I have found a thrill in experimenting with many different subjects, techniques, colors, contrasts and media. In particular, I have cultured an affinity for graphite and charcoal, and more recently pastel. Working with pastel has allowed me to focus on a single medium, but one flexible enough to explore techniques of both drawing and painting. With a whole world of Art still ahead of me, I look forward to the discoveries each new day of learning brings.
Chaz Chapot
My woodcarving histories started back in art classes in high school, and over the past 30 years I have taught myself to master the tools and skills of woodcarving. I reside in Austin, Texas and have been a member of the Central Texas Woodcarvers Associationfor over 15 years.

I am a project manager of a custom home builder here in Austin, Texas. For many years prior to becoming a project manager, I was a finish carpenter and it was through my carpentry work that I started acquiring "scraps" of hardwoods that encouraged me to "recycle" and to "create" them into pieces of artwork. My finish carpentry experience has allowed me to incorporate carving designs into the architectural millwork.

My artwork has earned recognition and awards at various art shows. From creating family heirlooms to realistic sculptures or architectural components your design can become a reality.

Designs for my carvings can be adapted from a photograph, but most are unique one-of-a-kind carvings. Through my ability to draw, I can create an interpretation of an idea that a client might have. I work closely with my clients across the United States to produce a design that is tailored to meet their individual needs. This ensures that the artwork created will be treasured by present and future generations.
